Picasso the Greystone Cat

Life just gets better at Greystone. I get invited in in the evenings or on cold southerly days and I get milk to go with my Whiskas and water (Sadie calls it aqua pura but I think its just water from the tap). Sammo bought me a Personal Pet Pad in Hamilton and I get carried inside on it (wrapped around me) and placed ever so gently in front of the fire.

I got growled at and had a bell put around my neck the other day 'cos I caught a blackbird that couldn't run as fast as me. I didn't know I had it in me but I had this burst of energy for 2.11 micro-seconds! I never chase birds and I really don't know what came over me. I tried to tell Sadie that this blackbird was being rude to me, but that didn't go down too well and now I have this bell thing that tinkles when I pass wind and waddle! Still this Personal Pet Pad is very nice.

Sally took some pictures of me and one of these is included. All the others were of me sleeping but Sadie said this one of me posing and flexing my Pectorals would be the most impressive for the Brussels' persons whom I lived with for 12 years before they went offshore.I recommend this Personal Pet Pad and am thinking (in between sleeps) that I may set up the master franchise for the Personal Pet Pads in Greytown. Next step could be Carterton or Featherston and then, well, the world! I could earn whilst I snored! Sadie said I would need a Business Plan and a hot-shot marketing guru to really take off. I said I was quite happy just keeping my feet on the ground and in any case if I recommended them then that would be enough. I reckon the best advertisement would be me sleeping quietly (zzzzzzz) on one.

Yours purrfectly, Picasso the big fat 15 year old cat. (Dictated by me, Picasso, and typed by Sadie)

PS "Isaac and Thomas are coming" to see me very soon so I better get in some good sleeps before they arrive! Don't forget those new PJ's Thomas and Isaac I have heard that Kangaroos are good eating (if you can catch them)!

Sammo's Knees-Up - Progress #1

In order to cater for the lads from Brisbane's arrival next month, Sadie (continuing his/her customer satisfaction approach) has established by direct contact what food supplies the lads will need. The usual list for an 11 year old (well almost 11) arrived however there one one addition that only Sadie could supply.

Isaac loves Farfar's home-baked bread. A sample picture shows what a glorious loaf will be supplied. The cookie eating monster doesn't eat bread, not without cheese and whiskey that is, so the loaf will be safe from his gustatory attentions.
Thomas's food needs (ie finger food for starving grandsons) also need to be met. So Sadie (with his Morfar's assistance) will attend to that. 4 year olds are a particular challenge in the finger food stakes!

Signed off by Isaac's Farfar and Thomas's Morfar with Sadie's beady eye watching closely.
