Greystone in April 08 - Autumn

Greystone calling New Plymouth, Brisvegas and BrusselsVegas

Another Autumn is upon us. The new neighbours across the road, the Murphys, spent Anzac day afternoon blowing autumn leaves into piles and sacking them. Marvellous, since when the NW blows tomorrow there will be loads less for Sadie to sack. And Sammo was not hear to see it - she being in Brisvegas with her boys, Carl and Isaac.

Kris reminded me from BrusselsVegas that: "Hullo! Hows the blogging going? It helps keep in touch."

So here's some photos of Greystone. The wall has been started with the first big row of stones mortared and concreted in. "It is slow work," says Sadie since a glass or so of wine gets priority as does keeping up with ALL the housework

So here are the pictures, ably overseen once again by Picasso the cat in his eighties. We are both sure the late cat Cleo is observing. During the summer when the trench was dug for the stone wall Cleo would lie in the sun in the trench - nice and warm and safe. Only now does Sadie see that she was really slowing down.
